Hola amigos!
Hermana Gubler is awesome! She is pushing me to work more and surprising me with how much drive she still has although she goes home soon and I'm super grateful for her! I know that she has her worries and concerns with going home but she isn't going to leave anything undone or unworked here before heading back! Props to Hermana Gubler!
After biking one night after flash flood warnings all day
 and pouring rain! Last Saturday!

This past week with Christmas and all of the holiday things going on, we have been able to go caroling and visiting less-actives a ton and it's been so much fun spreading the Christmas cheer and love with everyone! It's been super great in those aspects!
Also, the highlight of my week definitely was Christmas and skyping home with my family! I love them so much and it was great to be able to talk with them for an hour! I hope you all had a very beautiful Christmas as well!
This past Saturday, it was POURING like crazy! Like we had flash flood warnings for hours! So it was perfect that we hadn't got weekly planning done because of a moved district meeting and Christmas, so we were able to do that and then go over our whole ward roster with the Spanish Elders because we've been needing to do that since... uh... zone conference. haha and so that was just perfect! Then we had an appointment that night that we couldn't find ANY member to take us to, we have no miles on our car almost (and the Elders had the car..) so at like 7:45 in the light rain and strong cold breeze, Hermana Gubler suggested that we bike there. So we did. Almost. We almost got there but we got lost, it was like 8:45 and super sketchy. And our phone died. So we turned back around (Hna. Gubler got her knife easily accessible) and we headed home. When we called to explain to our investigator why we didn't come, she said "no worries! she had just got home anyways!" and so we wouldn't have even seen her. It was a good bike ride though! Haha so far our record for making lessons on bikes has been 1/3. I would say that we aren't doing so hot.
This is why church was cancelled... and cars
 were grounded. I promise the roads were more icy
 than this and more especially today!
Then church was cancelled yesterday because of ice storms (it like wasn't even that bad....) so we hurried (well as fast as possible on icy roads) over to the 9 o'clock English ward that hadn't been cancelled to take the sacrament and then call all of our members in the foyer to let them know that church was cancelled. Our cars were then grounded (meaning we couldn't drive or bike anywhere) so we camped out at one of the members house with the Zone Leaders and English Sisters and watched Ephraim's Rescue, did language study, and watched another video about the building of the Salt Lake temple. Did you all know that Utah means "top of the mountain" and that is a fulfillment of Isaiah's prophecy in the bible about God's church would be established in the last days on the "top of the

mountain". How cool!! Then we were grounded again this morning until about an hour ago and so that's why this email is coming out so late! Haha but it's been such a great day!
So there is our adventures for the week! The church is true and Jesus lives! I hope your Christmas and New Year season has been just as good if not better! (: Hasta la vista! Chao!

A Blessed Week! Novermber 29, 2016

Hi you all! Hermana Tucker is awesome! We are seeing SO many miracles together and it is so nice being able to work so much in our area together! I love it!  So this past Sunday I was just having one of those days that I thought might lead to another round of just really hard days and I was worried. I didn't want that to happen yet again. After a long day of meetings and church and just feeling down on myself because of errors that I had made this past week, my Spanish was doing awful and I was struggling to understand, and then realizing that my self confidence was in the pits too, so I finally opened up to Hermana Tucker who had already noticed I was struggling and she had already let me play piano after church for a moment to de-stress even though she was probably starving for lunch. Bringing in December with Christmas Miracles! December 6, 2016

Before anything else, the lovely Hermana Tucker and I are making Christmas cards today! I would LOVE to send one to all of you! Could you send me your address this week please? And I will send one next Tuesday when we email! (We have interviews with President Mansell on Monday, so we might be needing to move preparation day to Tuesday again!) So... I'm pretty much just forwarding my letter from President Mansell for this week... and adding maybe a few extra things... Maybe. haha This week has been splendid! So we are finding a lot of people to teach! (<-MIRACLES!) for the English missionaries!! It's great- I'm only a little sad because they are super awesome children of God and I don't get to see their testimonies grow, but the main point is that this is the same great work done through the Spirit no matter what missionaries are involved!
